Potentiometric Stripping Analysis for Simultaneous Determination of Copper, Lead, Cadmium, Zinc, Iron and Manganese

Sun Qinshu,Hou Shifeng, Chen Zhongdao, Zhu Jun (Department of Chemistry,Jining Medical College, Jining 272113)
A new method of potentiometric stripping analysis and chronopotentiometric stripping analysis for the simultaneous determination of Cu, Pb, Cd, Zn, Fe and Mn in the supporting electrolyte solution contained ethylenediamine or ethylenediamine-HCl was presented. The linear relationship between the stripping peak height and the concentration is in the range of 0.1-2600 ng/ml for Fe, 0.05-3200 ng/m1 for Mn, 0.2-2800 ng/ml for Cu, 0.1-3600 ng/ml for Pb, 0.05-1200 ng/ml for Cd, 0.2-4200 ng/ml for Zn, respectively. The elements in Water and biological samples can be detected using this method.
