Hydride Generation-Spectrophotometry

Niu jianjun,Wang Bingwu (Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry ,Chinese Academy oj Sciences, Changchun 130022)  
The hydride generation-spectrophotometry with the characteristics of high sensitivity, high selectivity, simplicity and practicability was a new type of analytical method for determining the covalent hydride elements such as Ge, As, Sn, Sb, Se, Bi, Pb, Te etc. , in which the generation, transportation, absorption and coloration of the testing hydride occur and complete simultaneously. A review with 64 references was presented on the fundamentals and the recent development of this method in the respects of its absorption and coloration systems, the simultaneous or series determination of multiple elements, the valence and species analysis, the elimination of interference and its applications in analitical chemistry.
