Analysis of Volatile Components of Coix Seed

Simultaneous distillation-extraction apparatus was used for isolating the volatile substances of coix seed. Fifty five volatile components were identified with GC/MS/DS method. The main components are alcohol (14. 1%),aldehyde (9. 85%),ketone(3. 07%), acid(5. 96%), ester(2. 74%),hydrocarbon and terpene(50. 43%), heterocyclic compound (12. 45%). The total content of the above 55 compounds is 98. 60% of the volatile substances.
