A Kinetic-Dual Standard Additions Method for the Simultaneous Determination of Interfering Binary Mixture Compensated by Synergistic Coefficient

A synergistic effect compensating kinetic-dual standard additions method was proposed , and the principle of the simultaneous determination of interfering binary mixtures was discussed. By studying the Mo(Ⅵ) and W( Ⅵ ) catalyzed H2O2-iodide kinetic reaction, conditions for the simultaneous determination of molybdenum and tungsten were established as; [H2O2] = 9. 7×l0-3mol/L, [I-] = l. 0×10-2mol/L, pH 3. 0, and 25C. In order to compensate the synergistic effect, the synergistic catalytic coefficient was introduced, and the deviations of absorbance from additivity were eliminated effectively. Molybdenum and tungsten contents in different samples were determined with the method, the recoveries and relative standard deviations were 97. 8%-102. 1%, 2. 3% -3. 4% for molybdenum, and 96. 9%-98. 6%,1. 6%-2. 6% for tungsten, respectively.
