Application of Modified Simplex Optimization for the Simultaneous Determination of Mixed Rare Earth Elements

The modified simplex optimization is used to remedy the drawbacks of Kalman filter method which is widely applied in analytical chemometrics. It is used to determine the mixed rare earth elements simultaneously. The result is satisfactory, and the accuracy is better than that obtained by Kalman filter method.
