Silver-Diethyldithiocarbamate System for the Determination of Arsenic by Flow Injection Analysis

A new FIA-AgDDC system with spectrophotometric detection was designed for arsenic determination. This system combines the solution fllow path with gas flow path by the hydride generator and the absorbing device. AgDDC solution was used for the absorption of arsenic hydride and N2 gas was used as the carrier gas. The main influence factors were studied. The results have proved that the main advantages of this system are simple equipment, easy operation, rapid determination (15 samples/h) and good reproducibility (RSD=4. 8% ).
