A Primary Study on the Detection of Weak Signal in a Stronger Noise Background

Noise is usually filtered for getting a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) . Based on the stochastic resonance theory, a primary study is made at raising SNR by adding noise for detecting a weak signal that exists in a stronger noise background. The results obtained are reasonable and referable.
