Determination of Dopamine by Voltammetry with 2-Picolinic Acid Chemically Modified Electrode

The preparation of poly( 2-picolinic acid) chemically modified electrode and the electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) on this modified electrode were studied. In pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution, the linear range for determining DA is 1.0× 10-7- 1.0 × 10-5 mol/L, the detection limit is 2. 8 × 10-8 mol/L. There's no response for ascorbic acid on this modified electrode, so its interference is removed.
