Determination of Lead and Cadmium in Environmental Samples by Flow Injection-Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry with On-line Separation and Enrichment

Lead and cadmium were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with on line PT C 18 pre column flow injection separation and enrichment technique. In this system, ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamat, and sodium diethyldithiocarbamate were used as a chelating agent,and methanol was used as an eluant. Detection limit per minute enrichment (4.2 mL) for Pb and Cd was 6.90 μg/L and 0.45 μg/L respectively, and the relative standard deviation for Pb and Cd was 2.8% and 2.5% respectively.
