Electrochemical Behavior of Dopamine at the Poly (2,4,6-trimethylpyridine) Chemically Modified Electrode

The preparation of poly(2,4,6 trimethylpyridine) chemically modified electrode and the electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) on this modified electrode were studied. In pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution, the linear range for determining DA was 4.0×10 -6 ~1.0×10 -5 mol/L, the detection limit was 5.0×10 -8 mol/L. There was no obvious response for ascorbic acid at the modified electrode. The interference of ascorbic acid could be efficiently eliminated.
