Determination of Cadmium and Lead in Mushroom Using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy

Cd and Pb in mushroom were determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry, with NH 4H 2PO 4 and Mg(NO 3) 2 as a matrix modifier, which could enhanced the ashing temperature and eliminate the matrix interference. The method is rapid, simple and accuracy. The relative standard deviation of Cd and Pb 3.7%~6.0% and 7.3%~7.9%, the recovery was 98%~106% and 98%~104%, the detection limit was 0.009 μg/g and 0.032 μg/g, respectively.
