Sequential Determination of As, Sb, Bi and Sn in Zinc Concentrates by Hydride Generation-Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry in The Presence of L-Cysteine

The method for sequential determination of As, Sb, Bi and Sn in zinc concentrates by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS) was studied in the presence of L-cysteine. The recoveries are in the range of 92.8%~105.0% for As, 96.0%~109.3% for Sb, 96.0%~111.6% for Bi and 96 7%~103.7% for Sn by melted down sample at a time. The detection limits are 0.35 μg/L, 0.31 μg/L, 0 19 μg/L and 0.35 μg/L respectively. The method has been applied to the determination of As, Sb, Bi and Sn in zinc concentrations with satisfactory results.
