Adsorption Properties of Nanometer-size TiO_2 for As(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ)

XIAO Ya bing, QIAN Sha hua , HUANG Gan quan, ZHONG Jia sheng, WANG Hao yun (School of Resource and Environmental Science, Wuhan University, Wuhan,430072)  
Adsorption action of nanometer size TiO 2 for As(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ) has been studied. In pH 1~10, the adsorption rate of nanometer size TiO 2 for As(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ) is both 99%. What's more, balance time, adsorption volume, saturation capacity of adsorption and interference have been studied. The research can be used to treat arsenic waste water and preconcentrate arsenic.
