Electrocatalysis of NADH Oxidation at AzureⅠ Chemically Modified Electrodes

The sensor for electrocatalytic oxidation of reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH) was prepared by immersing a Nafion film coated glassy carbon electrode into azureⅠsolution.The azureⅠwas immobilized via electrostatic force between the cation azureⅠand the negatively charged sulfonic acid groups in Nafion film.Cyclic voltammetry(CV) was used to investigate the electrochemical characteristics of the sensor.The experimental results demonstrated that the modified electrode was an excellent catalyst for NADH oxidation,the peak potential shift negatively to 660 mV on glassy carbon electrode modified with the azureⅠfilms compared with unmodified glassy carbon electrode.The current value had a linear relationship with concentration of NADH over the range of 8.7×10~(-5) mol/L to 1.5×10~(-2) mol/L,the detection limit was 3.0×10~(-5) mol/L.
