Determination of Phenol in Environmental Sample by Using the Mimetic Enzyme Catalytic Reaction

Base on the chromogenic reaction of enzyme catalytic reaction oxidase hydrogen peroxide with Hemin as a mimetic peroxidase,4-aminoantipyrine and phenol as hydrogen donator substrate,a method for determination phenol compounds was established.The apparent molar absorption for determination of phenol was found to be 1.73×105 L·mol-1·cm-1 at pH 11.2.The good lineraty was obtained in range of phenol concentration of 0~7.38×10-6 mol/L.Determination of concentration of phenol in the wastewater was carried out with satisfactory results.
