Determination of Methyhestosterone in Aquatic Products by High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Dispersive Solid Phase Extraction

A high performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC)method coupled with dispersive solid phase extraction was established for the determination of methyltestosterone residue in aquatic products.The samples was extracted with ethyl acetate with addition of MgSO4,and then cleaned up by aluminaN.The limit of detection was 8μg/kg,and the method showed a good linearity in the range of 10-10 000ng/mL with a correlation coefficient of 0.9999.And four representative samples(tilapia,grass carp,shrimp and turtle)were used to validate the recovery and precision of the method.The recoveries of methyltestosterone at three spiked levels of 30,50 and 100μg/kg varied from 84.6% to 106%,and the relative standard deviations(RSD)varied from 1.77% to 4.27%.
