Study of the Effects of Axial Ligands on Fluorogenic and Chemiluminescent Reactions Catalyzed by Hemin

The effects of twenty kinds of amino acids and organic bases as axial ligand on reactions catalyzed by hemin , a mimetic enzyme of HRP, have been studied. Imidazole and histine can enhance the catalytic activity of hemin markly both in fluorescent reaction system with p hydroxylphenyl acetic acid (p HPA) and in chemiluminescent reaction system with luminol as substrate. But Tyr,Try and L Cys showed inhibitation effect.
