Experiment study on electro-magnetic emission character of rock and soil in process of uniaxial compression loading

WANG En-yuan,ZAHO En-lai(College of Energy& Safety Engineering,China University of Mining Technology,Xuzhou 221008,China)  
In this paper,we adopt rock and soil sample which is collected in the location of landslide in Huangnibao Chongqing and make uniaxial compression loading experiments by using cement pressure machine of TYE-300 controlled by computer.In the process of fracture of rock and soil,we test electro-magnetic and acoustic emission signals and receive principal character of electro-magnetic emission of rock and soil in the process of uniaxial compression loading.Electro-magnetic emission signals can be generated in the fracture process of rock and soil.Increasing with the addition of pressure and in main fracture,electro-magnetic emission signals become stronger.The larger the intensity of the rock and soil is,the stronger the electromagnetic radiation intensity is.The higher the loading rate,the stronger the electromagnetic radiation intensity is.The research has certain significance in the abstract and foreground in the application for the disaster prediction of geological landslip.
