Characteristic of lignite binderless hot pressure molding

The relationship between molding temperature and molding pressure, which are two important factors affecting lignite binderless hot pressure molding, is investigated in this study. The results show that the compressive strength increases with the increase of molding temperature at early stage and then decreases afterward. It indicates that a specific type of lignite has an optimal molding temperature. The weightlessness ratio of lignite increases with the increase of molding temperature, while ratio change is controlled by lignite quality. Briquette compressive strength is strengthened with the increase of molding pressure, while the waterproofness is affected by lignite quality.
