Stability analysis of slope of municipal solid waste sanitary landfill

Taking Fuxin landfill as an example,the slice method based on the limit equilibrium theory was used to analyze the slope stability of the landfill body and to determine the optimal slope gradient.The FLAC3D procedure which was designed specifically to simulate the loading process of landfill was used to certificate the optimal slope gradient obtained by the limit equilibrium theory.The results of the analysis indicate that the slope of the landfill body is in a stable state and the optimal slope gradient of the landfill body is1:2.
