Impact of geo-stress to reservoir characters in deep coal seams

To study the reservoir characters in deep coal seams,this paper utilized the analysis method based on the shallow reservoir characters combined with analyzing and simulating method of reservoir characters of deep coal seams,and studied the impact of geo-stress to reservoir characters including permeability,porosity,gas content and reservoir pressure in deep coal seams.The results of this study shows that the decline of permeability does not fit the exponential function relationship.The permeability in deep coal seams is better than expected.Besides,the controlling effect of temperature is bigger than geo-stress.The gas content in deep coal seams has two different results depending on the seal condition.Moreover,the porosity shows decline trend with the increasing of effective stress and trend is obvious at low effective stress phase.The reservoir pressure in deep coal seams increases with the increasing of geo-stress.
