Determination of Micro Amounts of Iodine in Soil by Amplified Reaction Colorimetric Method

Under acidic conditions,I - in the sample solution is oxidized to IO 3 - with saturated bromine solution.Then the reaction of IO 3 - and excessive I - in chromogenic agent produces I 2,the product of I 2 starch reaction makes the solution blue,and the content of I - is determined by colorimetric method. The is method has higher sensitivity,and the detection limit is 0 0169mg/L,and the linear range of determination of I - is 0 04~0 8 mg/L.The method has been used for the analysis of soil samples with,RSD≤5 3%( n =4),and recovery of 90%~112%.
