Determination of DODAC CMC in an aqueous solution

The critical micelle concentration(CMC) of dioctadecyldimethyammonium chloride (DODAC) was determined via molar-conductivity method and fluorescence of DODAC-alpha-bromo-naphthalene.The ultrasonic was employed to prepare DODAC micelle system.And the concentration of alpha-bromo-naphthalene was 1×10-4 mol/L.The CMC determined was 5.24×10-5 mol/L and 9.67×10-5 mol/L respectively.
