A hydrogen peroxide biosensor based on hemoglobin/Poly (methylene blue)-carbon nanotube modified electrode

Hemoglobin(Hb) immobilized on the surface of the poly(methelene blue)-multi-walled carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode(Hb/PMB-MWNTs/GCE) can undergo effective and stable direct electron transfer reaction.A H2O2 biosensor based on hemoglobin/poly(methelene blue)-multi-walled carbon nanotubes polymer film modified electrode was prepared.The electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode was investigated.Hb on the H2O2 biosensor can carry out persistent and direct electron transfer reaction,and preserve electrocatalytic activity to reduce H2O2.The linearity range of the biosensor for H2O2 was 1.0×10-6 ~ 2.0×10-4 mol/L,and the detection limit was 0.4×10-6 mol/L.The biosensor was applied to direct determination of H2O2,and the result was credible and satisfactory.
