Study on interpretation and reversion of tobaceo flavor based on bi-directional gradual simulation from chemical composition and fragrance characteristics

Comprehensive qualitative analysis of unknown HNCD005 essence provided by Hunan Changde cigarettes factory was done in this paper by means of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC-MS) combined with computer-aided flavor-adjusting software.As a supplementary method,the quantitation of the essence was also analyzed.Compared the main composition of the component we analyzed with the real composition of HNCD005 essence,the accuracy rate was 85%.After determining the main composition of the component,we imitated the HNCD005 essence with an external standard method by means of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The flavor and composition of the essence we imitated were almost close to those of the unknown HNCD005 essence after compared with GC-MS total ion current chromatograms of unknown HNCD005 essence and identified by flavorist.The flavor characteristics of the essence and odor reservation value of fragrance imitated were very close to those of the unknown HNCD005 essence.
