Spectrophotometric determination of trace iron in food by micellar solubilization

The solubilizing and sensitizing effects of CPB and CTMAB in solution were compared and the experi- mental results were analyzed in detail theoretically.Based on this,a rapid,accurate,sensitiv spectropho- tometric method has been established for the determination of trace Fe in food in Fe-CAS-CTMAB complex system under highly acidic condition.The recovery is 97.8%~103.4% and the relative standard deviation is 2.6%.
