LIU Ru-yu\+1,CHEN Shou-tao\+2 (1.Department of Modern Medicine,Fujian College of TCM,Fuzhou,Fujian 350003,China; 2.Microbiology Lab.,No.1 Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University,Fuzhou,Fujian 350005,China)
In vitro observation on the antibacterial activity of 8 herbs(coptis chinensis etc.)to familiar conditional pathogenic bacteria to make preparation for the study of selecting herbs treat nosocomial infection diseases caused by conditional pathogenic bacteria. The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of herbs to the bacteria been tested.Result:Coptis chinensis has strong in vitro antibacterial activity to several familiar conditional pathogenic bacteria, forsythia suspense shows the lowest MIC value to staphylococcus aureus which means the strongest antibacterial activity, heartleaf houttuynia herb, andrographitisand Banlangen show some certain antibacterial activities to these conditional pathogenic bacteria.
