Determination of Polysaccharide from Morinda officinalis How in Nanjing

Objective: To extract polysaccharide from Morinda officinalis How in Nanjing and determine the content.Method:The content of polysaccharide was determined with phenol-sulfuric acid method.Result: The standard curve was Y=0.0084X0.0564(r=0.9996),the average recovery is 99.11%.Conclusion: The method is simple and sensitive,which offers a foundation of research for quality assessment of Morinda officinalis How in Nanjing.
