Study on Concentration Technology of Cocurrent Two-effect Evaporation for TCM Liquid Extract

Objective To saving the energy of the evaporation system of TCM liquid extract. Methods The concentration technology of cocurrent two-effect evaporation with condensed water flash for TCM liquid extract was studied by mathematical method, and the the mathematical model was established and solved with a computer aided algorithm. Results The practical example indicated that the fresh vapor expenditure of cocurrent two-effect evaporation with condensed water flash was about 43.95% less than that of single-effect evaporation. Conclusion The effect of energy saving was effective, the algorithm has the advantage of high speed and precision.
