Intervention Effect of Fuzheng Yiliu Decoction on Proliferation and Apoptosis of Hepatoma HepG2 Cells

Objective To observe the effect of Fuzheng Yiliu decoction on proliferation and apoptosis of hepatoma cells.Methods Hepatoma HepG2 cells were cultured in vitro and treated with Fuzheng Yiliu decoction drug-containing serum with different doses,blank serum respectively,then proliferation rate was detected with methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assay,and cell cycle and apoptosis rate were detected with flow cytometry.Results Compared with blank serum group,the OD value in drug-containing serum groups were decreased obviously(P0.05),and S phase cells were also decreased obviously(P0.01).The cells increased in different degree in Annexin V+/ PI-region and Annexin V+/ PI+ region(P0.05 or P0.01),and the increasing amplitude of cells in drug-containing serum group with high doses was most obvious.Conclusion Fuzheng Yiliu decoction drug-containing serum could effectively inhibit the growth of hepatoma cells by interfering the synthesis of HepG2 cells in S phase,induce early and late apoptosis of HepG2 cells,and remove the hepatoma cells which have proliferated excessively.
