THREE DIMENSTONAL DYNAMOMETER FOR CYLINDRICAL GRINDING

With the aplication of the principle of octagonal ring force measuremen, three dimesional cylindrical grinding dynamoneter has been designed and construted. In veiw of the obvious difference in each directional rigidity of the equal-thickness of the rign, an unequal wall-thichness construction is adopted. Grinding test confirmed that using a ring of unequal wall--thickness will result in reducing diversity of three directional rigidity, increasing axial rigidity and improving anti -interference characterastic. Hence., the reliability and accuracy of force measurement are thus enhanced.
