Dynamic finite element analysis of heavy-duty machine tool

Stiffness and mass matrices is effectively reduced by static condensation and sub-structure method. The finite element analysis for complex mechanical structure can be performed in personal computer. The result and discussion of the dynamic analysis is presented for a heavy-duty machine tool, with program AMTPOS.
