Application of artificial neural networks for prediction of self-compacting concrete strength

For the limitation of Back-Propagation algorithm,this paper presents some neural network models with different high performance algorithms in detail.The results indicate that models with conjugate gradient BP algorithm? Powell-Beale restarts algorithm? Quasi-Newton algorithm and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm can be used for the prediction of the strength of self-compaction concrete.This papar still suggests an effective method which can ascertain the number of hidden layer by the procedure using MATLAB.
