Patterning of polymer by inkjet printing and its application in the fabrication of organic electronic devices

Inkjet printing has been used as a patterning technique in the fabrication of organic electronic devices because of its characteristics such as high efficiency,low cost,non-contact and flexible patterning process and so on.The deposition and patterning of functional polymer films have been realized through the inkjet printing of the functional polymer solution and used in the fabrication of polymer light-emitting diodes,organic thin film transistors and their integrate circuits.This paper has reviewed the evolution of the fabrication of organic electronic devices by inkjet printing,and the basic problems and status about the inkjet printing of the polymer solutions.
