Sericin Fixing on Silk with Cyanuric Chloride and Triglylisocyanurat

The effect of cyanuric chloride and triglylisocyanurat on sericin fixing was studied,and the crosslinking degree was evaluated by degumming rate and solubility in LiSCN solution of the fixed sample. Some important properties such as whiteness,luster,rigidity and tensile strength of cross-linked silk fabric were also investigated,and the relations between these properties and the amount of fixed sericin were discussed. Amino acid analysis was employed to provide the information about crosslinking mechanism in the sericin.
