Modification of cellulose fibers were undertaken with cationic compounds containing epoxy based(multi-reactive) groups as the(cross-linking) agent, and the dyeing properties of the modified fibers were investigated. The results show that the modified fibers can be dyed with reactive dyes with zero salt. The dyed fibers have better color yield and fastness, higher dye uptake and fixation rate than the unmodified fibers. Thus, the efficiency of the dye is improved significantly.
