Progress in research of protective clothing performance test and evaluation

It is a key process that the protective clothing to be tested and evaluated before they are used.In this paper,the ways of test and evaluation for the firefighter protective clothing performance used at home and abroad is reviewed,and the importance of the total performance of firefighter protective clothing on the basis of the research results is presented.Under the situation of simulation and true wearing,focusing on the total performance of protective,the test and evaluation methods for total performance such as heat protection,water protection,visibility and freedom of movement are discussed.The trend of test and evaluation methods of protective clothing is summarized,and because of the inter-influence of the factors of the protective clothing total performance,the applying of the theory of analytic network process is proposed to evaluate the factors which influence the total performance more scientific and more effective.
