We chose 12 soybean varieties for indoor and potted forced arid experiment, and appraise their drought resistance for selection. The result showed: the four physiological indexes such as inhale water rate, sprout rate, germination rate and root length had difference among the varieties in seedling stage, the behavior was also different in growth stage. Hai94 was high drought resistant in seedling stage, but not in growth stage; Red bean and Zhongzuo 96-2 were drought resistant in growth stage, but not in seedling stag; L65-1914 was selected to be drought resistant in both stages.
