Comparison of Hybrid Rapeseed Purity Based on SSR Markers and Morphological Phenotyping

In order to explore the possibilities of hybrid rapeseed purity identification by using SSR marker technique, comparative researches were carried out by SSR marker identification and morphological phenotyping. The genic sterile line 156AB, restore line 86Y17 and their F1 progenies were employed in this research. First, we screened out 14 SSR primer pairs from the tested 406 SSRs, which can reveal the polymorphisms between the parents, and then we used the 14 SSRs to identify the tested materials. The results indicated that there were obvious differences for hybrid identification between SSR approach and morphological assessment.
