Described in the article are the histories and current situations concerning R D of the cold-rolling pilger pipe mill both at home and abroad. Also introduced here are the main aspects with respect to the representative models of the said kind of pipe mill, covering the technical parameters, structural characteristics as well general information about current applications of the mills.
