EFFECT OF CONTROLLED ROLLING AND COOLING ON MICROSTRUCTURES AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF Nb+V MICROALLOYED STEEL

In this paper, effect of controlled rolling and cooling schedule on microstructures and mechanical properties of low carbon hot rolled steel plate micro alloyed with Nb+V has been studied by using optical and electron microscopy technique, mechanical analysis etc The reasonable rolling and cooling schedules have been proposed The results are useful for the development of high strength shipbuilding plate
