<title>nding Pearlite of Plain C-Mn Steel Plates with Ultra-fine Grained Ferrite

abstracte recrystallization regularities of plain C-Mn steel have been studied with the Gleeble 2000 hot simulation tester. The plain C-Mn steel plates with ultra-fine grained ferrite have been fabricated in laboratory. Furthermore, the plain C-Mn steel plates with ultra-fine grained ferrite have also been manufactured in the Shougang Steel Plate Rolling Plant. The effects of the process factors on the banding pearlite and the mechanism were analyzed to decrease and eradicate the banding pearlite. The results show that:severe deformation amount in the non-recrystallization zone near the static transformation temperature, Ar3, can not only make ferrite grains fine even ultra-fine in the C-Mn steel plates, but also decrease the banding pearlite 1-2 grade; with the decrease of finish rolling initial temperature, the banding pearlite can be decreased; controlled rolling in the non-recrystallization zone is beneficial to decrease banding pearlite and with the increase of deformation amount in the zone, the banding pearlite further decrease.
