Experimental Study on X100 Pipeline Steel

By proper composition and microstructure designing, the test X100 pipeline steels were prepared successfully in lab.The effect of microstructure on mechanical properties was studied with OM,TEM,EBSD analysis,and continuous cooling transformation curves were obtained with Gleeble-1500 thermomechanical simulator.The result indicates,the specimen rolled with final cooling temperature of about 380 ℃ and cooling speed of 20-25 ℃/s consists of lath like bainite,granular bainite and acicular ferrite,and has optimum microstructure and excellent integra-ted mechanical properties:ReL=775 MPa,Rm=845 MPa,A=16.6%,AKV(-20 ℃)=218 J.
