EFFECT OF COOLING WATER QUALITY ON MISTCOOLING OF HOT SURFACE

Experimental study has been performed on the mist cooling of hot surface to investigate the effect of hot cleanliness of cooling water and roughness of hot surface on heat transfer characteristicsThe results denote that the roughness has almost no effect on boiling heat transfer but the cleanliness have strong effect on boiling heat transfer at high temperature and heat transfer can be greatly enhanced with impure cooling water
