An Experiment of the Heated Air Chamber with a Vertical Stove

WANG Qing fu, GAN De fang(Zhaotong Tobacco Company, Zhaotong, Yunnan 657000, China)  
The comparison experimental results from the baking property of middle and upper tobacco leaf by using the heated air chamber with a vertical stove and old flue cured chamber, show that the property of the new type chamber is better than that of the old chamber, which is of decreasing fresh/dry weight ratio of baked tobacco leaf, increasing single leaf weight, improving superior tobacco leaf (8.05%~15.39%) and reducing coal consumption (0.59~0.78kg/baked tobacco leaf). There are no difference between treatment 1 and 2.
