Effects of Different Sowing Time and Density on Yield of Qianyou 301, a New Hybrid Rice Variety

WU Zhong-zhen, HE Xiao-ming, LU Feng (Tongren Extension Station of Agricultural Techniques, Guizhou 554300, China)  
The optimal cultivated model for higher yield of Qianyou 301 is obtained by taking a field experiment with different sowing time and density in Tongren prefecture with an elevation of 600 meters. The main cultivated measures for yield over 600 kg/667m2 are that sowing on the middle ten days of April, 14000~15000 holes/667m2 of planting density, breeding seedling on upland nursery, shallow transplanting, rational management of manure and water, and controlling pest and diseases in field.
