Analysis on Raising Rice Yield and Economic Benefit by Using the New Irrigation Technique with Water-saving

Two irrigation models of scientific irrigation and storing rainwater pattern were used to study the effects on rice yield in Guizhou.The results show that two irrigation models can effectively improve the rice yield and water production rate in the test area.The comprehensive effect of the scientific irrigation pattern is better than the storing rainwater pattern and the comprehensive effect of two irrigation models is better than the traditional irrigation pattern under the same cultivation technique and meteorological factors.Two irrigation models should be popularized in Guizhou.The research results provides the reliable base in rice production with water-saving cultivation and has the important meaning in building water-saving society and ensuring food safety in Guizhou.
