Feminization of Agriculture and Its Impact on Women Development and Agricultural Production

Migration of rural labor force to cities or shift to non-agricultural sectors has been increasing since economic reform initiated 30 years ago.As the result of unbalanced out-migration between rural male and female,agricultural feminization is becoming visible in China.This paper reviews different studies on agricultural feminization and analyzes its impacts on agricultural production and development of rural women.
