Microwave Assisted Extraction Technology for Total Flavonoids from the Leaves of Llex kudincha

Single factor and orthogonal experiments were applied to study the microwave assisted extraction(MAE) technology of total flavonoids from the leaves of Ilex kudincha,to provide basis for the industrial production of flavonoids from the leaves of I.kudincha and the utilization of the resources.The results showed that under the optimal technology with 1∶25 of solid to liquid ratio,640 W of microwave power,60% of ethanol,and 70 seconds of microwave treating time,the extraction rate of total flavonoids could reach 33.67 mg/g under these conditions.The study proved that MAE was the rapid and efficient technology for total flavonoids extraction from the leaves of I.kudincha.
