Investigation on Parasitoids of Pristiphora erichsonii in Liupanshan of Ningxia

To explore the parasitoid sources of P.erichsonii in Liupanshan National Nature Reserve and screen the dominant parasitoid that could effectively control the pest,the dominant parasitoid sources of P.erichsonii were studied by sentinel survey.The results showed that: 1) The parasitoids of P.erichsonii were the following eight kinds: Tritneptis sp.,P.setiferae,Endasys sp.,A.macroincubitor,A.abbreviatus,B.selecta fugax,B.bassiana and B.thuringiensis.Among which,Tritneptis sp.was the dominant parasitoid of the pests.2) When the large outbreak of P.erichsonii occurred,the populations of the parasitoid increased rapidly.With the reduction of pest populations,the parasitoid population reduced as well.This indicated that the parasitoid of insect pests was the major limiting factor and its peak lags behind the pests.3) The biological characteristics of the main parasitoid were described.
